1. Wages are interesting thing here in Utah because the minimum wage is way under what people really need to make. I think it is around 7 and I think a person needs to make closer to 10 every hour. One of the things that it talked about in the chapter was deciding what to pay people. People will always want more money for less work and owners will want more work less pay. So we need to find that special medium.
2. Have you ever negotiated a starting wage or pay increase with your boss?
3. I remember my first job in high school I didn’t make much but I liked my job so I work there for a long time and it was nice. People these days don’t keep a minimum wage job very long. They will like it so they stay or they will leave and go somewhere else.
4. have you worked for a company that you thought you would get this much money and they in fact was a lot less ( summer sales )..?
